Birds
Birds are a class of vertebrate animals that are characterized by their feathers wings and beaks. They are found in a wide variety of habitats from the Arctic tundra to tropical rainforests. Birds are divided into two main groups: passerines (perching birds) and non-passerines (waterfowl shorebirds and others). Passerines are further divided into songbirds parrots and raptors. Non-passerines include waterfowl shorebirds and gamebirds. Birds have a variety of behaviors including migration courtship and nesting. They are also important to the environment providing food for other animals pollinating plants and dispersing seeds.
